As with the smaller Bora, a long shallow keel with a centreboard is a standard. We strongly believe that this solution expands cruising possibilities. Many locations, harbours and bays are inaccessible for vessels with a fin keel, and a well-designed and balanced shallow keel with a profiled centreboard provides good stability and excellent seaworthiness.
The BORA 838 can be distinguished among other boats at first glance. In the novelties market of serially produced yachts it stands out with its slender figure and distinctive sheer. We made intensive effort to redesign the Kormoran, an old construction of a well-known Polish constructor Aleksander Powalajew.
The interior has been intensively modernized, as well as hull hydrodynamics. The deck was modified to facilitate any modern fittings. We have thus proven that stylish, cozy interior may harmonize with seaworthiness and great pleasure of sailing.
The “Bora Yachts” boatyard was established in 1998. The core of our crew consists of a group of boat builders with many years experience in both laminate and wooden yachts construction. The motto of our boatyard is as follows: Perfection in the union of tradition and progress. These words stand for high quality, durability and reliability of our yachts. Keeping in mind solutions and experience which come from tradition, we use state-of-the-art materials and technologies. We prefer not to follow fashion with its short-lived trends. Instead, we believe in the development of the main stream of boatbuilding design, from which many beautiful, solid, functional and above all, capable to survive in all weather conditions yachts have arisen. Apart from its current program, our boatyard, relying on the experience of its crew, is capable of executing other projects, as well as individual, non-standard orders.
