Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, Philippines (MV Solitude One Liveaboard)

MV Solitude One only runs trips from April to end of June (when we're not in Palau) as this is due to restricted open times. Tubbataha is a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site – and now an ASEAN Heritage Park – Since divers discovered Tubbataha in the late 1970s, it has become recognised as one of the most remarkable coral reefs on our planet. The CNN travel website, cnngo.com, ranks it among the top eight dive sites in the world.
Because of its isolated location, Tubbataha can only be visited on a liveaboard boat. Divers can experience the reefs' dramatic underwater terrain, awe-inspiring biodiversity and encounter large marine animals such as sharks, turtles and manta rays.

Republic of Palau (MV Solitude One Liveaboard)

We run trips on MV Solitude One from November up until our Tubbataha Season, which begins in April. Officially know as the Republic of Palau, this island nation in the Pacific Ocean is approximately 500 miles east of the Philippines and 2000 miles south of Tokyo. Palau gained independence in 1994, after emerging from United Nations trusteeship administered by the US for 47 years and is one of the world’s youngest and smallest nations. It was the American Diver’s Association CEDAM International (CEDAM stands for conservation, education, diving, awareness and marine research) who nominated and chose the Palau Reefs for one of the seven wonders of the underwater world in 1989. CEDAM chose the wonders in accordance to their quality of marine life, and whether we should keep them well preserved as protected sites.

Lembeh - The Macro Capital (Solitude Lembeh Resort)

The diving in Lembeh really needs not explanation, being revered as the Macro/Muck Captial of the World. Though we run the odd trip there with our Liveaboard, Solitude Adventurer, many find the Resort style much more enjoyable and flexible.

Set in vibrant tropical gardens perched right above the water’s edge, Solitude Lembeh directly overlooks the water and faces Pulau Lembeh, which lies just across the Strait. The resort is designed to ensure guests enjoy the intimate exclusivity and privacy of the natural landscape.
The resort welcomes guests with 24 spacious and well-appointed villas and rooms, all designed with a traditional Minahasan accent/decor. Four main categories of accommodation are available to choose from: Garden-View (8 with partial sea view), 2 sea-front villas and 14 deluxe rooms (6 with full sea views). Ranging from 35 to 70 sqm the villas can cater to the needs of different travelers including those who may need access via wheelchair.

Anilao, Philippines (Solitude Acacia Resort)

The latest addition to the Solitude family, set to open again in October of 2019 after we have made our adjustments. Anilao is world renowned for its fantastic macro that rivals that of Lembeh. In addition, a short boat ride away you have the stunning reefs where one can find larger creatures such as Mantas.
