Wadi Lahami is a secluded village in Egypts pristine “deep south”, 180km South of Marsa Alam airport and 10km south of Hamata. This destination is for the dedicated explorer featuring an almost completely empty coastline, except for the occasional mangrove and herds of grazing camels. Guests are treated to a true adventure and nature-based experience both on land, and underwater. The mangrove area just north of the village is home to many birds, making it an ideal site to bird watch. Observe the Ospreys hunt their morning catch while you enjoy an early, pre-dive breakfast.
Wadi Lahami offers the chance to explore the world-class Fury Shoals; the most pristine dive sites in the whole of the Red Sea, including famous dive sites such as Shaab Claudia, Satayah (Dolphin) Reef, Abu Galawa and Shaab Maksour. Guests are offered up to 4 dives per day with over 30 dive sites in the program. It is the ideal location for anyone looking for top quality diving along with privacy, seclusion, and proximity to nature.
