Solaris 50

After the success of the 48-footer, which was first introduced in 2006 and which is still a reference when it comes to design, performance and functionality to all owners, designers and engineers, Solaris renews the challenge in the 15-meter market with the ground-breaking new Solaris 50. With the new 50-foot yacht Solaris wants to continue the success of the Solaris 48. In the 8 years of market presence the 48 has conquered not only the European market but also found owners on all other continents. The goal is to combine new solutions with proven systems and implement these to the 50-foot model by building an evolutionary yacht with the most innovative standards for the next decade. With this new 50-foot yacht we are convinced to have achieved all objectives because of the following 10 reasons:

  • 1 After the 44, 58 and 72, the new 50' represents the latest evolutionary step of the hull lines designed by Soto Acebal, where the balance of the hull is demonstrated by high performance and smooth sailing on the water;
  • 2 Functional and minimalistic distribution of deck gear - only 4 winches positioned by the wheels, to allow easy handling at the helm position, as well as the self-tacking jib, with recessed track;
  • 3 Completely foldaway sprayhood;
  • 4 integrated bowsprit to attach new generation sails such as gennaker and code 0;
  • 5 sail locker large enough to enable the option of a crew berth;
  • 6 guest head with separate shower cubicle and wet locker which drains into the shower bilge;
  • 7 aft cabin with twin standard size berths;
  • 8 Improved use of space in the saloon: larger galley and storage space and fridge with drawers; 2 possible options for the navigation area (outboard and traditional), both versions with quarter-berth against the sofa;
  • 9 large tender garage with wide transom door to enable launching the tender without the need to rotate it;
  • 10 dedicated liferaft pod.

Solaris 68

The new Solaris 68’ is the result of experience gained in the design and construction of sailing yachts for long-range navigation. The decision to concentrate engine room, tanks and systems under the saloon floor ensures optimum comfort even with a high-performance hull. Different interior layouts can be developed to meet the requirements of any boat owner. The deck layout allows navigation even with a small crew in all sea conditions.

Solaris 37

The Solaris 37’, as big as a 38 ft from other boatyards, is currently the only yacht on the market considered to offer a couple the same comfort as a 45 ft, thanks to the wide owner’s cabin, fitted with a central double berth and to the bathroom with a completely separate shower. The very clean deck is characterized by flush hatches, halyards and sheets concealed below deck and outboard chainplates. All these solutions facilitate moving on board in total comfort and safety, leaving large spaces for relaxation. The 37’, despite being the smallest boat in the Solaris range, is also built in accordance with the strict standard rules of the Maxi Ocean Yachts. With the introduction of this model Solaris becomes the only high quality yard to offer the market this size of yacht with the same technical/structural solutions, performance, safety and materials typical of the other successful bigger yachts of its range. The 37’, like all other Solaris, features a unique structural characteristic: all the bulkheads, as well as the joinery, are laminated not only to the hull, but also and most importantly of all to the deck; in this way there is no need for inner mouldings and silicone bonding. The Solaris 37’ is designed to be easily handled and controlled by a couple or by a reduced crew. A cruiser-racer yacht, based on ORC rules, designed by Soto Acebal and conceived for the most demanding owners in search of performance, construction quality and seaworthiness.

About us

Company details

The venture started in the 70s in Aquileia, on the shores of the Venetian Lagoon, where first the Romans and then the Serenissima Republic left their important seafaring heritage taken up by Solaris Yachts, manufacturer of Solaris. With a total area of 26,000 sqm, including 6,000 sqm under cover, besides building “custom” yachts, the yard has refitted and restored yachts up to 100 feet. With forty years of dedicated boat building and refitting experience, and a unique know-how, the technical department and the skilled workers of Solaris design and build top quality sailing yachts, combining technology and strength with the traditional manufacture of the incomparable wood interiors.

 The quality and the finish of the interior joinery are distinctive features of Solaris, renowned and appreciated all over the world. The refined selection of fine woods combines with the skilled handmade care of the details. The craftsmanship is a necessity for the target that Solaris has set itself: excellence. The final result is a byword for unique and unmistakable fittings that are designed to be functional, comfortable at sea and ultimately durable.
