INNOVATION Continuing innovation is the goal of the FACNOR Design Team which started in 1985 with the introduction of a new jib furler range featuring the patented telescopic section. Seven years later, FACNOR introduced the FACSLIDE® batten car system. This new system eliminated end stops on the cars and can fit on any type of mast. At the 1998 La Rochelle Boat Show, the complete FACNOR range of continuous line furling systems was awarded by the well-known « Innovation Award ».
During Chicago show, in the beginning of 2011, Facnor officialy received the Pittman award in the "Racing Gear" catagory for the FlatDeck Jib Furler. Sail, an influential American magazine, awards the most innovative products available on the current marine market. The German magazine Segeln has presented to our agent, Carsten Burfeind, the 2012 Segeln Award, at "Düsseldorf Boot". This trophy rewards the FlatDeck furling system, winner in the « Sailing Equipment » category, and selected among nine products by the readers of the magazine.
