It is very easy to identify the appropriate dimension: Simply hoist a decametre to the top of the mast using the spinnaker hayliard and, depending on the spinnaker you would like, take the measure using the drawing shown below.
For added security, you also can give us the measures on the spinnaker measurement form, and one of our technicians will tell you the appropriate model.
Gennaker or asymmetric Spinnaker furling line easily stored in the sail bag thanks to the new Facnor stainless steel double leads : removable, competitively priced and ideal for endless line installations where the line needs to follow the toe rail.
Use : parallel furling lines of head-sails and staysails, Gennaker or asymmetric Spinnaker.
Principle : ideal for endless line installations where the line needs to follow the toe rail. The double lead fits stanchions with a self-gripping strip, which makes easy storage of the whole sail package (flying sail + furler + furling line + leads). The clever twin-part lead is easily dismantled allowing swift installation of a pre spliced endless drive line. Alternatively, the double lead can guide parallel furling lines of head-sails and staysails.
A spinnaker pole is a spar used in sailboats (both dinghys and yachts) to help support and control a variety of headsails, particularly the spinnaker. However, it is also used with other sails, such as genoas and jibs, when sailing downwind with no spinnaker hoisted. (Since the load on a spinnaker pole is very light on this point of sailing, sometimes a special light spinnaker pole called a whisker pole is used in these circumstances.)
