The Forum for Interior Yacht Design at the boot Düsseldorf 2018
Once again in 2018, the boot Düsseldorf offers a forum of its own to the wideranging interior yacht design segment of the superyacht industry. From 20st to 28th January 2018, a separate section of the Superyacht Show in hall 7a of the trade fair will be dedicated to everything concerned with the interior of superyachts. "boot INTERIOR" is being organised jointly by the trade fair company, Messe Düsseldorf, and BOOTE EXCLUSIV, Germany's leading superyacht magazine.
Shaping individual yacht design
For years now, the interior of large yachts has played an increasingly important role. Owners are specifying larger and larger spa areas, quieter cabins, more lavish materials and more exciting designs. A megayacht can easily have several hundred square metres of living space, which always account for the largest proportion of the total price of the yacht.
Anyone who is willing to spend such large sums, naturally wants to feel just right at home on board the yacht. This is were interior designers, consultants, yacht designers and accessories suppliers come into play. In cooperation with the shipyard they take care of the individual design of the yacht as a living space. This may range from personally designed fenders to the choice of silver cuttlery for the dinner parties on board.
Forum & Meeting Point of the Industry
“Our aim is to continue developing the world’s largest yacht and watersports trade fair and to strengthen its importance. One major element in this strategy is to provide the extremely important and wide-ranging interior industry with a forum of its own at “boot Düsseldorf”. With a special show of its own for the interior industry as part of the superyacht show, boot Düsseldorf is sending a clear message that the B2B sector of the trade fair is being expanded”, explains Petros Michelidakis, boot Düsseldorf Director.
BOOTE EXCLUSIV, the leading superyacht magazine in German, which is published by Delius Klasing Verlag, is the exclusive media partner and will have a special lounge of its own at the boot INTERIOR showcase in hall 7a.
“Interior designers need a showcase of this kind. There is a huge selection of companies and specialists – from door handle manufacturers to surface finishers. Thousands of suppliers are in operation all over the world. I am convinced of the concept of an interior trade fair in the context of “boot” and am delighted that we are presenting our brand there”, adds BOOTE EXCLUSIV editor-in-chief Marcus Krall.
