On January 29, 2016, twenty-two marine retailers attended a certification handover ceremony at the BOOT 20116 show in Dusseldorf.
The upstanding businesses received certificates in the individual categories, such as boat sales, accessory sales, boat service, and engine service.
Customer service was evaluated in each of the individual categories, using a strict set of criteria developed by International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI).
The certificates were presented by the CEO of IMCI, Ulrich Heinemann.
During the festivities the redesigned certification plaques were awarded. The plaques were designed so they could be proudly displayed in areas were customers would notice the IMCI seal of quality.
Interested dealers & service companies continue to have the opportunity of certification for the period 2016 - 2018 to be certified and distinguished by the German Marine Federation, BVWW.
