For more than 85 years, our customers have been at the heart of the group “Gebr. Friedrich”.Gebr. Friedrich Industrie- und Elektrotechnik, located both in Kiel and Rostock, and Gebr. Friedrich GmbH & Co. KG Schiffswerft in Kiel belong to the part of the company group which acts at an international level. The range of services of the parent company Gebr. Friedrich Schiffswerft includes marine ships, government boats, working vessels, pontoons, cruise ships, passenger ships, motor yachts, and historic sailing ships.Being a member of the association “Deutsche Yachten” (German yachts), the shipyard is able to offer comprehensive refits for motor yachts. The subsidiary Gebr. Friedrich E-Technik employs a staff of 50 across the headquarters in Kiel and the branch in Rostock. Our range of services includes delivery, assembly, diagnosis, and maintenance of ship and industrial plants in the fields of general electric engineering, switchgear manufacturing, electric machine engineering, custom-made engineering, pump engineering, as well as refrigeration engineering and air conditioning technology.Our company is the framework partner of Deutsche Bundesmarine (German navy) in the field of maintenance. Also, we deliver switchgear panels to NATO partners. All services mentioned above are conducted according to applicable standards (VDE, rules set out by ship classification societies, applicable standards in naval engineering and according to NATO AQAP 130, shock and shake tests, EMC, magnetic measurement).Since 2003, periodic quality audits by Germanischer Lloyd Certification GmbH have been attesting that “Gebr.
