Figure eight knot loop

In comparison to the slip knot, the figure eight knot loop cannot slip. Furthermore it is easier to loosen.

The begin is similar to the slip knot but the running end is passed underneath the standing part.

 

 

One loop is stuck through the other loop.

 

 

The size of the variable loop can be changed by the running end.
