On 21 July 2012, Maslinica on the Island of Solta turned into fashionable St. Tropez! The Sunseeker Rendezvous, an exclusive get-together of Sunseeker customers, was held for the first time on the Adriatic and offered guests an unforgettable experience in one of the most beautiful Croatian islands. Martinis Marchi located in Maslinica was the perfect venue for the event, providing a newlybuilt marina with over 50 fully equipped berths for yachts up to 40 meters, complemented by a charming event arena in the form of an amphitheater adored with a beautiful park, and the five stars Martinis Marchi Heritage Hotel & Restaurant next to the marina.

25 impressive Sunseeker yachts
On Saturday afternoon, a total of 25 impressive Sunseeker yachts ranging from 14 meters to the current flagship, the Sunseeker 40 Meter Yacht, arrived to Maslinica and turned the marina into a magnificent site of luxury motoryachts. More than 120 guests were in attendance and enjoyed a full day program including Massage and Spa treatments, helicopter tours around the island, test drives with the Sunseeker Superhawk 50, water sports fun with Seabob, the world’s fastest diving scooter, and test drives with the German hand-crafted sports cars Wiesmann, which were specifically shipped to the island of Solta for the event.

Champagne reception with a magical sunset
With a white dress code and under the theme “Martinis White Party”, the Rendezvous’ exclusive evening programme started at twilight at the amphitheater, where all guests enjoyed a Champagne reception with a magical sunset, and a warm welcome given by Vlatka Pokos, a famous Croatian TV presenter who hosted the evening event. Following a short presentation about Sunseeker Germany Adria by Torsten Sieckmann (CEO of Sunseeker Germany) and Marko Toric (Managing Director of Sunseeker Germany Adria), the famous Croatian musician Ana Rucner and her magical cello thrilled the audience with a spectacular performance, making this a wonderful introduction to the rest of the stunning evening event.
Stewart McIntyre (Managing Director of Sunseeker International) and Sean Robertson (Sales Director of Sunseeker International) were also in attendance to join the event.
