BAVARIA Yachtbau celebrates the new B/ONE’s world premiere

On Friday, 25 May 2012 BAVARIA Yachtbau celebrated the new B/ONE’s world premiere during the 15th Match Race Germany 2012 at Lake Constance. The boat is BAVARIA’s first trailerable sports model and is quite a highlight in the shipyard's history.


Responding to young sailors
Over the Whitsun weekend, an official press conference was held on the new B/ONE. Product Manager Daniel Kohl, Project Manager Peter Mayer, Marketing- and PR-Manager Alexander Knesewitsch, as well as Patrick Shaugnessy from Farr Yacht Design, presented the new sports boat from BAVARIA’s shipyard. B/ONE will allow BAVARIA to tap into a completely new market segment and above all respond to young sailors.

Switching from dinghy to yacht sailing
"The B/ONE is directed at young sailors. It offers an excellent opportunity to switch from dinghy to yacht sailing. B/ONE is priced attractively and easy to handle, particularly for experienced sailors. As a result, it’s an ideal way of stepping up to the next category”, explains Daniel Kohl, Product Manager at BAVARIA Yachtbau. Whether destined for beginners, young sailors or experienced professionals, B/ONE is a synonym for enjoyable sailing at all levels. B/ONE was developed in conjunction with Farr Yacht Design.
