Alphena Yachts is located in the south of the Bretagne, the centre of the European „Sailing Valley“, where sailing is part of everyday life and culture. Regatta sailors, leisure time sailors and well known skippers meet everyday to exchange their knowledge and talk about their experiences. These intense sailing activities on all kinds of boats and under different conditions are a permanent source of innovation and technological development.

The creation of all Alphena-Yachts is based on a process of engineering which involves every single requirement of the functional specifications document. The resulting solutions of this research illustrate the demand profiles of Alphena Yachts. The manufacturing of different components of the boats is assigned to suppliers, the fitting is done by the company itself.
