Horizon E54 - dynamic flybridge yacht debuts at boot 2012

With the E 54' from Taiwan, Horizon opens up new vistas in the entry class of around 50 feet. The new sporty, elegant lines were designed by J. C. Espinosa, and feature large front windows for a saloon bathed in sunlight. The spacious master cabin, located amidships and taking in the entire vessel width, includes a walk-in closet that represents a further highlight in this class.

Economical weight allows power savings
Thanks to vacuum infusion technology and a hull designed especially for the vessel length, it was possible to reduce the total weight to 21 t, i.e. more than 5 t less than craft engineered according to conventional techniques. The economical weight also allows power savings while maintaining performance, so that two 700 hp Volvo Penta diesel engines with IPS drives are used. This promises new economy, now that Horizon has restructured their sales activities in Europe with the appointment of Ron Boogaard.
