LinQ CQ-6 - a true canting keel sailing experience

The new CQ-6 was brought to life with one goal in mind; to bring the most advanced sailing technology together in a compact, well-priced, performance sport-boat. The CQ-6 is easy to handle while at the same time offers the thrills of racing a high-tech canter. With the ability to plane in even the lowest true wind-speeds, its extreme design creates a very stable platform due its wide and powerful hull-form.

Quick accelaration and easy planing
The CQ-6 sails easier than one would expect. The feel on the helm is comfortable and direct without being 'nervous'. The boat is very stiff due its wide hull shape, accelerates quickly and planes easily. It's easy to sail the boat really fast. And beyond that advanced sailors will be able to reach absolute stunning speeds. The boat also performs well in light conditions. The canting keel is operated by a button on the tiller extension. This gives the helmsman optimum control over the keel whilst still 100% focussed on steering the boat.

Extra sail carrying power
The extra power generated by the ability to cant the keel bulb to windward eliminates the need for a fourth (or fifth) crewmember on the rail. The complete crew is occupied with actively sailing the boat without a need for extra people on the rail for weight only useful whilst sailing upwind. The keel built from high tensile steel guarantees a fast and safe ride. The keel can be raised using a tripod to make transport and storage very easy.
