Hanse 495 - fast and elegant world debut at boot 2011

An elegant hull form have been achieved with a careful combination of hull and superstructure geometry, using a moderately formed U-section to the hull structure and a striking coach roof eyebrow design.

Easy sailing concept
A clear foredeck, open easily accessed coach roof and an extensive protected cockpit area with integrated table all combine to make sailing safe and easy for the crew. A big simple to operate transom door forms an ideal gangway in harbours as well as being the perfect bathing platform. The easy sailing concept has been further developed. Naturally all manoeuvres are controlled from the helmsman’s position, assisted by electrical winches. On customer request this Hanse can be supplied with an easy docking tool for stress free mooring, which moves the yacht under motor power in every direction.

Individual cabin concept
The Hanse 495 interior is a new interpretation of the loft style concept that Hanse introduced for series production sailing yachts. Birgit Schnaase Interior Design SID have overseen the continued development of this extremely flexible and customisable approach. Highlights are the generous well equipped galley with outside view, an L-shaped settee and the possibility to place the owners cabin with separate heads forward or aft. The well known Hanse individual Cabin Concept gives a wide choice of options. The Hanse 495 has a minimum headroom of 2 meters and a new ambient illumination concept.
