The design of the Oceanis 58 has focused squarely on function and life on board. The mainsail arch and the fact that the control lines are all led back to the helm positions mean that the gently-inclined companionway is filled with light from above.

The companionway opens into an enormous saloon, a galley that’s more like a full-size kitchen and superbly designed storage. The desk is more than just a chart table, and provides the perfect working surface for a notebook computer, sorting your photos, reading your mails... or just writing a postcard. On port tack, the navigator will settle in very comfortably with an uninterrupted view of the entire saloon. Opposite, an ultra-comfortable sofa doubles as an on-watch bench on starboard tack for night passages.
