NeilPryde RS:X new Olympic class
The new NP RS:X
The latest news on the progress of the NP RS:X, released by Neil Pryde themselves:
Testing on Maui
"During the latter part of February 2005, together with key members of the evaluation team from the ISAF Windsurf Committee, we will be finalising our testing of the NP RS:X on Maui. This testing will ensure that the NP RS:X meets the stringent quality and performance parameters, particularly with regards to construction, durability and shape stability; required for the one design windsurf racing class of the 2008 Olympics."
Production commences in April
"Production of the NP RS:X will commence in April 2005. With the first boards available on the market from June 2005, and a production rate building up to 200 complete rig packages per month, we are expecting that by the end of 2005 up to 1700 complete packages will be available on a worldwide basis."
Thank You for Your patience!
"We'd like to emphasize that the NP RS:X is a board and rig package that is being built to the strictest ISAF one design standards in terms of construction, quality control and performance. Maximum development and testing has gone into this product to ensure that it is a design that will carry a successful one design windsurf racing class through to the 2008 Olympics. We'd therefore like to thank you all in advance for your patience concerning the NP RS:X."
