For professional sailor Christian “Blumi” Scherrer, the concept behind the blu26 was to produce a boat that was both fun to sail and competitive. In collaboration with yacht designer Christian Bolinger, a sophisticated deck layout as well as a timeless and elegant design evolved. The blu26’s high speed potential and agility are not only impressive when sailing competitively fully crewed, but equally when sailing short-handed just for fun. The balanced feel of the blu26 instills confidence across a wide range of conditions.

Easy road transportation
With its narrow beam and easy lifting rudder and keel system, road transportation is simple and safe. Once on the water, the blu26’s solid construction and integral buoyancy give a great sense of security. Her all-round sailing abilities and low through-life cost
