Dometic Marine introduces new gas hobs and macerating toilet

09/03/2010

8100 Macerating Toilet Series

Dometic Marine, supplier of marine sanitation equipment, presents the new 8100 Macerating Toilet Series. Available in 12V DC or 24V DC operating versions, the 8100 Series is available in standard and low-profile height models to meet a broad range of customer requirements. Additionally, the 8100 Toilet features innovative water regulating technology.

Economic water consumption
The versatile 8100 Macerating Toilet is powered by MasterFlush(TM) technology and operated by a three-function switch. Utilising the switch enables the user to add water to the toilet bowl, flush in a normal manner or use a ‘dry-bowl’ function, to conserve water as well as eliminate the potential of contaminated water spilling into the head compartment during turbulent conditions. Furthermore, users are able to regulate water consumption depending on how long the flush switch is pressed.

Different discharge options
The compact 8100 Toilet has been designed for easy installation into virtually any area of the head compartment and can also be fitted against the hull wall. Providing exceptional flexibility, both through-the-floor and through-the-wall discharge options are available and can be specified in accordance with design, interior and layout requirements. The 8100 features a full-size wood seat with easy to clean ceramic body and is available in white or bone colours.

Dometic Gas Hobs EK1600 & EK3200

Gas hob series
Dometic Marine also presents two new gas hob models, designed to be permanently installed within a galley, fly-bridge or used as a free-standing unit on deck. The single-burner EK 1600 and the twin-burner EK 3200 can be permanently fixed or gimbaled according to the boat owner’s requirements. The hobs are designed for DIY installation or professional retrofit and feature all relevant safety measures including a safety ignition system, individually adjustable pot holders to secure pans and heat shields.

High-quality materials
Two adjustable flame settings for low (0.5kW) or high (1.6kW) cooking settings. High-quality stainless steel surfaces and detachable pot holders allow for easy cleaning. Each burner can produce up to 1.6 kW per burner and consumes 115 grammes of gas per hour. The hobs are CE-certified and built to current EC standards for gas appliances and are available through the world-wide Dometic distribution channels.
