Canyak Beothuk

World premiere by Gatz Canoes

German canoe builder Gatz Kanus presented a ground breaking new canoe concept at the boot Düsseldorf 2016: the canyak Beothuk. It is the first model in the new canyak series designed by Gatz and is available from March 2016. The design of the boat is modelled on the canoes of the Canadian Beothuk tribe. The wide middle section of the boat in conjunction with its large volume and high sides provides for great stability and maximum security against capsizing.
Fast and easy going
It is optional wether you use spade paddles or double blade paddles for the canoes from the Canyak series. You may even use a combination of both. Canyaks are equipped with comfortable and functional seats. The Beothuk can be used as a double but is also fast and easy to handle if you are single handed.
